WELCOME!

Massies Mill Ruritan Club is a member of Ruritan National, which has roughly 30,000 members throughout the United States who work to improve their more than 1,100 local communities. Ruritan's mission is to create a better understanding among people, and through volunteer community service, make America's communities better places in which to live and work.

The Massies Mill Ruritan Club was chartered in 1951, and raises money to support its mission through special fund-raising events and through use of its building for weekend dances, weddings, reunions, and other events. Anyone interested in renting the building should consult the Building Rental Info link on the left. Local recipients of Club contributions in 2011 included the Piney River and Montebello Fire Departments, Relay for Life, Boy Scout Troop 32, NCHS Future Farmers of America, Adventure Camp for Disabled Children, American Red Cross, Hunters for the Hungry, Roseland Rescue Squad, Jeffereson-Madison Regional Library, Vifginia 4-H Foundation, Tye River Cub Care Program, and the Nelson County Food Pantry.
