Award: Scholarship(s) of up to $1000 per year will be awarded by the Massies Mill Ruritan Club. New recipients will be selected each year. A previous recipient may reapply.

Selection of Recipient:

1. Must be a resident of Nelson County        

2.  Recipient must have been accepted by or attending an accredited

• College
• University
• Junior College
• Trade School or equivalent

   3. Recipient must have good character

   4. Financial circumstances will be a factor in case of more than one candidate applying   

   5. Recipient must attend a meeting of the Club to meet the members and to accept the award.

Awarded Scholarship Funds:

Funds will be deposited into an account at the institution the recipient will attend once the recipient is enrolled.

Include with your application:  1) Your high school or college transcript; 2) Two (2) letters of recommendation
